About conference 2020

We are pleased to inform you that the seventh international scientific conference FINIZ 2020 entitled “People in the focus of process automation” was held on Friday, 04.12.2020. years. In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia on the ban on organizing gatherings indoors due to the COVID-19 virus, the international scientific conference FINIZ 2020 was held online. Participants followed the event online, through the Microsoft Teams Live Event platform.

People are the in the focus of the fourth industrial revolution, which brings about significant changes in the labor market, while creating many opportunities for development and innovation. The key things about interests of the future are as follows: the division of labor between humans, machines, and algorithms has moved rapidly; new tasks at work raise the need for the acquisition of new skills; everyone should be ready for lifelong learning. Accordingly, there is a growing need for the following skills: analytical branching and innovation, creativity, originality and initiative, critical thinking and analysis, complex problem solving, leadership and social impact, as well as emotional intelligence.

The international scientific conference FINIZ 2020 is an ideal opportunity for all its participants to present their work and results to general public, as well as to exchange experiences and ideas with other distinguished experts from relevant fields. Two papers, in the expanded form (30%), will be selected and proposed for the publication in The European Journal of Applied Economics (M51) in an accelerated procedure.  Furthermore, special session on the conference will be connected to the project Experience-sharing of Visegrad countries to tax avoid activity, where Singidunum University Belgrade is the partner.
