Session Financial Forensics is organized by the Association of Certified Fraud Investigators of Serbia, which is a branch of the International Association of Certified Fraud Investigators (ACFE). The primary goal of the Association is to serve the community by promoting the fight against fraud and corruption through more effective detection and prevention of fraud. The Fraud Investigator Certificate is a globally recognized certification for anti-fraud experts. Authorized fraud investigators possess unique knowledge and skills that are not found in any other discipline. They know how to respond to fraud allegations based on their knowledge of complex financial transactions and fraudulent schemes, legal rules, investigative methods and prevention techniques. As a part of the Financial Forensics session at the FINIZ 2019 Conference, the respected CFE (Certified Fraud Examiners) will address the topics of digitization as a factor affecting the development of investigative techniques and their increasing efficiency, as well as the impact of digitization on actus reus and crime. Furthermore, the role of the financial forensic officer in the prosecution will be discussed in the process of gathering evidence and writing reports, the work of impact groups, interviewing techniques, as well as the methodology of self-investigations. Numerous anonymized case studies will enable the session participants to gain insight into the importance and importance of crime prevention and detection in the economy. |

The international scientific conference FINIZ 2019 is an ideal opportunity for all its participants to present their work and results to general public, as well as to exchange experiences and ideas with other distinguished experts from relevant fields. Three papers, in the expanded form (30%), will be selected and proposed for the publication in the The European Journal of Applied Economics (M51) in an accelerated procedure. The scientific session will be devoted to original scientific research papers, where the necessary conditions for the classification into this category were as follows: 1) the statistical analysis of empirical data was performed in the work; 2) the obtained findings provided a clear contribution to the defined research area; 3) the implications Findings of research have for professional practice. On FINIZ 2019, the session Scientific Papers is divided in two parallel sessions. Scientific research papers from the thematic areas of the conference will be presented within the first session. In the second session, there will be presented scientific papers in the field of Circular Economics. A total of twenty papers will be presented in two parallel sessions. Working language is English. |
